
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Following three weeks of inactivity due to the holiday break, six of the league's seven women's teams returned to the pool for their first action of 2017.
Four of the seven were at the Austin College Invitational where Centenary College posted the best result among the SCAC representatives, taking home a second-place finish with total of 398 points, five points clear of the host school Austin College.
Swimming at their home pool, Colorado College's Emily Harrison and Ellen Silk won two individual events apiece to propel the CC women's team to decisive victories over Wayland Baptist University and Ohio Northern University on Saturday night at Schlessman Natatorium.
The Tigers won eight of 13 individual events while defeating Wayland Baptist, 166-100, and Ohio Northern, 186-100.
