TOWSON, Md. - Led by Second Team selection Catie Baker of DePauw University and Third Team selection Hayley Emerick of Trinity University the SCAC had two student-athletes named to the 2010 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Women’s At-Large Teams.
Baker, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa was selected for the Academic All-American Second Team. A rising junior, Baker is a computer science major with a 4.00 grade point average.
Emerick, from Portland, Texas was selected for the Academic All-America Third Team. A rising senior, Emerick is a business administration/marketing major with a 3.66 grade point average.
Voting for the Academic All-America program is conducted nationwide by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
