NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trinity University
Tigers women won their sixth consecutive Southern Collegiate
Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championship Saturday. Official

The Tigers won the meet with 865 points, outdistancing runner-up
Centre College, with 789. Trinity has captured nine team titles
overall.
Trinity's men finished as runners-up, with a score of 769.
DePauw won the men's championship, scoring 916
points.
Sophomore Haley Emerick of Portland, Texas (Gregory-Portland), was
named SCAC Female Diver of the Meet for the second straight year.
Emerick set SCAC records in winning the 1-meter and 3-meter diving
events.
The Tracy Caulkins Competition Pool at the Centennial Sportsplex
was the site of the championship event. NCAA Division III
selections will be made in early March..
