MICHAELA BOSCO OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore forward from Weatherford, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, September 12th through Sunday, September 18th. SCAC Women's Soccer Release (Week 3)

Bosco shined last weekend for Trinity in a pair of wins, factoring in on three of four goals in a pair of victories. To open the weekend, Bosco assisted on the opening goal before registering the game-winning mark in a 2-1 win over Hardin-Simmons. She then returned on Sunday to record an assist on the game-winning goal in a 2-0 shutout victory over UT-Dallas. Bosco is now tied for second in the SCAC with three goals and her eight points are currently second-best in the league.  

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
 Sophomore midfielder Claire Reed of Dallas was the midfield maestro for the Crusaders in a 2-1 week. Reed scored a goal in 3-0 win over Austin College on Tuesday before assisting on another in a 2-0 win over the ‘Roos on Sunday in the second match up of the two squads last week. She finished the week with three points on one goal and one assist. Sophomore Samantha Hazen of Southwestern registered three assists in the Pirates’ 3-3 tie against ETBU on Sunday.
