MAYA WARNOCK
OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a freshman goalkeeper from
Dallas, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer Defensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 12
through Sunday, September 18.
Warnock posted two shutouts over the weekend in helping
Austin College go 2-0 with a pair of 1-0 wins.
Warnock made three big saves and helped to lead a
defense that has only allowed five goals on the year.
Warnock has now had shutouts in four of her first six
collegiate games posting a 0.83 GAA and recorded 15 saves.
