SCAC Nabs Six All-Region Women's Soccer Selections

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Six Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s soccer student-athletes earned recognition with the release of the United Soccer Coaches All-Region X Team on Tuesday.

Trinity led all programs with four student-athletes earning All-Region accolades, while McMurry University placed one athlete on the squad. Remarkably, the SCAC placed an impressive five athletes on the All-Region First Team. This year marks the fifth-straight season the SCAC has earned five or more All-Region honors and the second time in the last three years the league has placed at least five on the First Team.

The conference was represented on the First Team by Trinity seniors, Lauryn Lewis (GK) and Michaela Bosco (F), junior Bri Werner (M) and first year Kylie Harris (D). Joining the four TU Tigers on the First Team was McMurry senior forward Emily Holland.

Rounding out the SCAC All-Region selections were Trinity senior forward Abby Schneider, earning Second Team accolades.
