SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College women's soccer coach Michele Housden will resign from her position to pursue other professional opportunities at the conclusion of the 2021 campaign, athletics director David Norman has announced.

"We want to thank Michele for her outstanding leadership over the past three seasons," said Norman. "We're very excited for her with her future opportunities, and appreciate everything she has done for our student-athletes during her time at Austin College."

Housden was named the head coach of the 'Roos in 2019 after a long and successful high school coaching career, and has since coached numerous Austin College women's soccer players to All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference accolades.

"I would like to thank David Norman, President Steven O'Day, the entire athletics department, and the student-athletes for the opportunity to serve Austin College," said Housden. "It has been one of my greatest honors."
