LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.
- The seeds and pairings are now set for the 2018 SCAC Women's Soccer Tournament following the completion of the regular season schedule on Sunday, October 28th. Conference tournament seeding was based on Points Percentage, which is defined by the total points accumulated by a team divided by the total possible points a team could have accumulated based on actual games played.

Trinity won its fifth-consecutive SCAC regular season title since the conference began recognizing regular season champions in 2014 after finishing with a perfect 13-0 record in league play and a 1.000 points percentage. Trinity leads the SCAC with a 16-1-1 record all-time in tournament play and eight conference tournament titles. As the top seed entering the 2018 SCAC Tournament, Trinity will receive a bye and await the winner of Friday's quarterfinal contest between fourth-seeded Centenary and fifth-seeded Schreiner.

Centenary earned the fourth-seed after posting 6-5 record in conference contests and a .545 points percentage. 2018 marks the third-straight and fourth overall appearance in the SCAC Tournament for the Ladies. Centenary holds a 0-3-1 record in SCAC tournament action and is coming off its best showing in program history in 2017 after advancing to the semifinals, 3-2, on PKs over Southwestern.

Schreiner secured the fifth-seed with a 3-8-2 record in league play and a .282 points percentage mark. This will be the fifth-straight appearance at the SCAC Tournament for the Mountaineers where they have a 1-4-0 record over that stretch with the lone victory coming in the 2016 quarterfinals.

Centenary and Schreiner met twice in the regular season with the Ladies emerging victorious in both contests, most recently back on September 14th, 1-0.

Southwestern clinched the second seed in this weekend's tournament following an 8-3 record against SCAC opponents and a .727 points percentage. The Pirates have made six tournament appearances, including twice advancing to the championship match in 2013 and 2016 and hold an overall record of 1-4-3 in tournament play. As the two-seed, Southwestern earns an opening round bye and will await the winner of Friday's quarterfinal contest between third-seeded Texas Lutheran and sixth-seeded Dallas.

TLU locked up the third seed with a 7-4-2 mark in SCAC play and a .590 points percentage. The Bulldogs are making their sixth appearance all-time in the SCAC Tournament and have a combined 7-4-2 record in tournament action that includes three showings in the final in 2014, 2015 and 2017.

Dallas returns to the tournament for the first time since 2015 after capturing the sixth-seed with a 2-8-2 record in SCAC regular season play and a .222 points percentage mark. In four previous tournament appearances, the Crusaders have an overall record of 3-3-1 which includes a trip to the 2012 tournament final.

The quarterfinal contest between TLU and Dallas will mark the third time this year the two have met, with the most recent match-up occurring this past Sunday when the Bulldogs earned the 1-0 victory in the regular season finale for both squads.

The 2018 SCAC Women's Soccer Tournament gets underway Friday, November 2nd at Trinity University with the first quarterfinal match set to kick at 11:00 AM CST and the second scheduled for 1:30 PM CST. The tournament winner receives the SCAC's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament .
