Three Women's Soccer Student-Athletes Earn Scholar All-America Honors

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Three Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer student-athletes earned spots on the United Soccer Coaches' Scholar All-America list. Earlier in the day, four student-athletes were recognized as Scholar All-West Region selections.

Trinity University claimed all of the honorees, with Julia Kelly, Julia Camp and Hannah Booher being recognized. The All-West Region selections included the same three student-athletes, along with Trinity's Chelsea Cole.

Camp earned second team honors, while Kelly and Booher were on the third team.

To be eligible for selection, the student athlete must be nominated by his or her Head Coach and meet the following criteria:

  • Have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout his or her career
  • Start more than 50 percent of all games and be an elite player as supported by playing honors (i.e., all-conference) or contributions to the success of his/her team.
  • Plays for a current United Soccer Coaches College Services member institution
