Three Women's Soccer Student-Athletes Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Recognition

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Three Trinity University women's soccer players were named to the 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-Districtteam Friday.

Hannah Booher, Chelsea Cole and Julia Camp all earned first team honors for their performance both on and off the field.

Booher, a senior defender from Deer Park, Texas, holds a 3.90 GPA as a biology major. On the pitch, she has totaled 30 points for the Tigers this season -- seven goals and 16 assists.

Cole, a junior from Texarkana, Texas, earned a 3.56 GPA as a neuroscience major. Cole has received multiple SCAC Player of the Week honors for her performance on the field. She has been a force on the pitch this season, scoring 18 goals and nine assists for Trinity, totalling 45 points.

Camp, a senior from Houston, Texas, has scored 11 goals and 13 assists for Trinity this season. Camp also holds a 3.79 GPA and majors in English.

Trinity earned its ninth straight conference tournament title earlier this month, and began their NCAA tournament campaign. The Tigers look to play #21 Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday.
