Trinity Women's Soccer Remains at No. 3 in NSCAA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Trinity University Tigers earned two more wins in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action last week, and remained steady in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.

Trinity is also ranked No. 1 in the West Region poll from the NSCAA, and No. 2 nationally in the D3soccer.com ranking.

The Tigers moved to 16-0-0 on the season and 10-0-0 in league action after defeating Southwestern University and Texas Lutheran University.

In Friday's match up, Trinity allowed the first goal by an opponent since the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor scored on September 20th. The Pirates scored the goal in the 17th minute and we able to hold onto the lead until Trinity's Brigitte Taylor scored just three minutes into the second half. This is only the fourth goal they've allowed this season, while they've been able to put in 75.

Sunday, Trinity put in three goals in the first half, and held onto that lead throughout the contest.

Trinity has clinched both the top seed in the upcoming SCAC tournament, as well as sole possession of the regular season title.
