Women's Soccer Recap - Week Three

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer season continued this week as all seven teams were in action.

Trinity University took down the top ranked team in the nation and defending NCAA champion, Lynchburg College, earning a 1-0 win on the road. They also earned two conference wins, defeating Schreiner University and the University of Dallas.

Texas Lutheran University improved to 6-0-1 on the season with wins over Austin College and Centenary College. This puts them at the top of the standings with a 2-0-1 record in SCAC play, totaling seven points.

Southwestern University also earned a pair of conference wins this weekend, moving to 2-0-1 as well, tying TLU for the top spot.

Schreiner fell in an overtime heartbreaker to Trinity early last week, before taking down Dallas 4-1 Sunday.
