Trinity Women's Soccer Remains Near the Top in National Polls

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Trinity University women’s soccer team remains near the top of the national rankings this week, coming in at No. 2 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll, and holding onto the No. 1 spot in the D3soccer.com rankings.

Trinity remains undefeated on the season, taking down Austin College and Centenary College on the road last weekend. The Tigers have allowed just two goals all season for a goals-against-average of 0.131, the best mark in the nation.

The Tigers are averaging 3.9 goals per game, which ranks 13th in the nation and is the best mark among the conference.

Trinity currently holds an eight point lead on first-place in the conference. The Tigers will take on Texas Lutheran University and Southwestern University this weekend before finishing the regular season against Schreiner University.
