LEXI LEITE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior attack from Houston, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 4th through Sunday, February 10th.
Leite led the Crusaders with seven goals in their season-opening 15-13 victory over Huntingdon last Saturday. Leite put nine of her 11 shots on goal and added two ground balls, three draw controls and forced two caused turnovers.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior attack Hayley Donnelly of Southwestern led the Pirates with seven points (4 goals, 3 assists) in their season-opening 23-5 triumph against Huntingdon last Sunday. Donnelly scored three of her four goals in the first period and won three ground balls.
