Colorado College's King Tabbed IWLCA All-American

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Eva King became the 12th player in the 25-year history of Colorado College women’s lacrosse to earn All-America honors after she was named to the third team by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. 

King set personal single-season highs of 49 goals, 51 assists and 100 points while leading the Tigers to an 18-2 record and the program’s 11th appearance in the NCAA Division III Women’s Lacrosse Championship.

The junior attacker’s assist total ranks second on the program's single-season list, while her goal total is 13th.

King also shared the team lead with 39 ground balls and produced 13 caused turnovers, both of which were personal single-season highs 

The Baltimore native became the eighth player in school history to record 200 or more career points during the 18-1 victory over Southwestern University in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship game. 

The first-team all-SCAC selection led the team with 19 points during four postseason games, recording eight goals and 11 assists.

King recorded at least one point in every game this season and matched her single-game high of nine in the 20-10 victory over Colorado State University-Pueblo on March 20.

As a team, the Tigers set program records for victories in a single season as well as their 14-game winning streak to begin the season.
