KIONA HSIU OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from Missouri City, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played through Tuesday, March 14. SCAC Golf Release (Spring - Week 4)
Hsiu fired rounds of 74 and 75 to finish with a two-day total of 149 (+7) - good for a tie for 10th place - at the Westbrook Invite at the Lakes played at the Westbrook Village Golf Club in Peoria, Arizona. The 22nd ranked Tigers finished fifth in the loaded nine-team event.
Hsiu kept a two-over pace on either side of the course during Sunday's final round, maintained by a birdie on the par-four ninth.
