JULIANA HUDMAN OF UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS, a junior from Pearland, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played through Tuesday, March 7. SCAC Golf Release (Spring - Week 3)
Hudman jumped seven places from her day one placement after firing a 77 (+5) in the final round of the Schreiner Spring Shootout. The junior led all St. Thomas golfers with a two-day total of 158 (+14) and locked in a 12th-place individual finish in the 46-player field.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Kimberly Burch of Dallas finished in seventh in the 22-player field with a two-day total of 169 (+25) with rounds of 93 and 76 at The Whitney. First-year Emmie Rhude of Schreiner posted rounds of 79 and 82 for a two-day score of 161 (+17) to lead the Mountainers at the Schreiner Spring Shootout. Senior Wynter Flores of Texas Lutheran was eighth at The Whitney, leading the Bulldogs with a two-day total of 171 (82-89, +27).
