EMILEE STRAUSBURG OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Denver, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played through October 16th.
Strausburg finished second at the rain-shortened Alamo City Classic last Tuesday after posting a 10-over round of 81 on the par-71, 5,838-yard course at The Quarry Golf Club. Strausburg closed her round with a birdie to move into sole possession of second and finished tied for the lead in pars recorded on the afternoon with 10.
Strausburg also led the Tigers to a third-place finish out of six teams with a team score of 346.
