LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Schreiner University was the league's only team on the links this past week as the Mountaineers competed at the LeTourneau Tempest Intercollegiate at Tempest Golf Club in Gladewater, Texas.

Senior Katelyn Smith finished in fourth place in the 24-player field to lead the Mountaineer to a fourth-place finish. Smith fired rounds of 81 and 86 for a two-day total of 167 (+23). 

As a team, Schriener shot rounds of 352 and 367 (719) and finished six shots behind third-place Blinn College.
