LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - There was just one SCAC women's golf team in action last week as Texas Lutheran finished fourth out of eight teams at the Lady Crusader Invitational, hosted by Mary Hardin-Baylor in Glen Rose, Texas.

The Bulldogs carded a 36-hole total of 660 (335-325) on the par-72, 5,846-yard Squaw Valley course. The second-round team score of 325 is a season low for TLU this year. Hardin-Simmons took home the team title with a two-day total of 623 to edge out host Mary Hardin-Baylor by 15-strokes.

Individually, TLU was led by junior Summer Swift who moved up 12 spots following day one to finish fourth out of 39 athletes. Swift opened with an 82 but closed out the tournament with a one-over par 73 to finish with a two-day total of 155. The second-round 73 tied for the best round of the tournament and is a career best for Swift. She tallied 21 pars and three birdies in 36-holes.

Junior Kaley Martin posted a top-20 finish for the Bulldogs, finishing in a three-way tie for 17th with rounds of 83 and 82 for a total of 165 strokes.
