SCAC Women's Golf Fall Recap - Week Four

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Four of the five Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's golf teams were in action this week at the UMHB Crusader Collegiate Invitational at Stonetree Golf Club in Kileen, Texas.

SCAC teams finished second, third, fourth and fifth in the eight-team field as host Mary Hardin-Baylor took first-place honors with a 622.

Southwestern University, which led by two shots after Monday's first round, finished in second with a 637, 15 shots behind UMHB. Trinity University was third with a 647, Schreiner University was fourth and one shot back from TU with a 648 and Texas Lutheran University finished fifth with a 676.

Sophomore Emily Campbell of Southwestern finished with a two-round score of 145 (+1) to earn medalist honors. Campbell had a terrific final round, shooting a 71 (-1) to win the event by nine strokes.
