NORMAN, Okla. –- Trinity University
jumped to 17th and Southwestern University remained 25th in the
last Golf World/WGCA Women's Division III Coaches Poll of the fall
season.
Schreiner University also received votes.
Trinity, which had been ranked earlier in the fall, jumped the
equivalent of 12 positions in the final fall ranking, having been
four places outside of the Top 25 in the October poll.
Methodist claimed all 20 first-place votes to be the unanimous
No. 1 pick in the final Golf women's Division III coaches' poll of
the fall. The Lady Monarchs won their first three starts, including
the NCAA D-III Fall Preview, to close out the first half of the
2013-14 college campaign.
