LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - First year women's golfer Hanna Niner of Trinity University has been named to the Women's Golf Coach Association Region 5 All West Team.
Niner finished in a three-way tie for fourth place, with 162s. Niner posted seven-over 79 and qualified for the All-SCAC First Team and lead the Tigers to their first SCAC Championship since 1995.
Niner was named the SCAC Women's Golf Freshman of the Year as the top individual finisher among first-year players. Trinity shot a final-round 323 at the Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort & Spa Golf Course to make up a five stroke deficit going into the day; winning the title by one stroke over No. 17 Southwestern University.
