SCAC Has Nation-High 13 Honored as 2010-2011 NGCA All-American Scholars
July 08, 2011CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) placed a nation-high 13 individuals on the 2010-2011 National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholars Team. A total of 566 women’s collegiate golfers from Divisions I, II and III were recognized with this prestigious honor. -
SCAC announces Spring 2011 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll

Major Changes for the SCAC Following 2011-12 Academic Year
June 07, 2011SUWANEE, Ga. – In an expected announcement made today at the annual spring meeting of the league’s Board of Directors, the Presidents of Birmingham-Southern College, Centre College, Hendrix College, Millsaps College, Oglethorpe University, Rhodes College and Sewanee-The University of the South declared their intent to withdraw from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference effective June 30, 2012.

April 22, 2011HORSESHOE BAY, Texas - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Golf Championships will be held in Horseshoe Bay, Texas at the Horseshoe Bay Resort. The men will compete on the Ram Rock course and the women on the Apple Rock course. Competition begins on Friday, April 22nd and runs through Sunday, April 24th.

Oglethorpe Prepares To Host 2011 Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational
March 09, 2011ATLANTA, Ga. - Beginning next week, Jekyll Island will be teaming with host institution Oglethorpe University as collegiate golfers from across the nation flock to the 2011 Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational. In total there will be 52 teams and 270 competitors on the Pine Lakes and Indian Mound courses.

University of Dallas to Join the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference
September 22, 2010SUWANEE, Ga. — The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced today that the University of Dallas has accepted an invitation to join the Conference. Currently a Division III independent, Dallas will join the SCAC at the beginning of the 2011-12 academic year.
