ABBY HOLLAND OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore forward from Georgetown, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Player-of-the-Week for games played through November 26th, 2017.
Holland averaged 16.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.0 steals per game in the Trinity Thanksgiving Classic tournament, shooting 12-25 (48%) from the field, 7-8 (87.5%) from the free throw line, and knocking down both of her three-point attempts.
Holland started with 18 points, six boards, and six steals to vault the Tigers past Hardin-Simmons, then finished with 15 points and eight rebounds against UT-Tyler in the tournament finale. For the season, Holland leads Trinity with 6.8 rebounds/game and is second on the team in both scoring (17.0 ppg) and field goal percentage (49.1%; 28-57). She is also tied for the team lead with 18 steals (4.5/game).

Senior forward Michelle DeCoud of the University of Dallas averaged 18.3 points in a trio of contests for the Crusaders this past week. Junior forward Tori Carraway of Southwestern University averaged 10 rebounds per game as the Pirates ended their weekend 2-1. Junior guard Cami Davis of Texas Lutheran University averaged 15 points per game and was 100 percent from the charity stripe.
