SUWANEE, Ga. – Colorado College senior Zoë Tomlinson was named a preseason second-team All-America selection by D3hoops.com it was announced last week by the organization.
Last year, Tomlinson earned a third-team All-America nod by D3hoops.com and received All-American honorable mention recognition from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
The reigning SCAC Player of the Year, Tomlinson put together a historic year last year as a junior. She became just the second player in SCAC history to lead the league in points per game (17.7), rebounds per game (14.0) and field goal percentage (54.0%) in the same season. She joined Trinity’s Jennifer Warren who last accomplished the feat during the 1994-95 season. Her 378 total rebounds set the new single season mark for rebounds in a single SCAC season and finished second in all of NCAA Division III. Tomlinson finished the year with a remarkable 24 doubles-doubles, ranking her second in all of Division III.
