SHERMAN, Texas -- Austin College women's basketball player Bryce Frank has been named Second Team Preseason All-America by D3Hoops.com, the organization announced today. Frank was selected Fourth Team All-America by D3Hoops following the 2017-2018 campaign.
Frank, a senior forward from Granbury, was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year after averaging 18.2 points and 10.3 rebounds-per-game last season. She was also a First Team All-Conference pick, in addition to being selected Honorable Mention All-America by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
Earlier this preseason, Frank was named one of 24 players to watch by Women's DIII News.
In addition to finishing second in the conference in scoring and leading the SCAC in rebounding, Frank shot a league-best 53.4% from the field and was fifth in the conference with 3.2 assists-per-game. She was named the SCAC Player of the Week four times, and was a two-time D3Hoops Team of the Week selection. She was also tabbed by the US Basketball Writers Association as the National Player of the Week once last year.
Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
