SCAC Women's Basketball Recap - Week Five

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - SCAC play started this weekend and one team grabbed their first win in this weeks match-ups.

Austin College took a win over Millsaps 66-59 on Thursday. 

Colorado College and the University of Dallas kicked off SCAC play in Irving on Saturday. It was a tight-knit game throughout but the Colorado College Tigers took away the first win of conference play 65-57.

Centenary got their first win of the season in a 78-63 win over Millsaps. Ladies' Jasmine Morris earned a double-double and lead the team in points and rebounds with 18 and 10, respectively.

Also on Saturday, Texas Lutheran grabbed a 62-61 win over Hardin-Simmons. This outcome pushed the Bulldogs to 3-6 on the season so far.

Austin College also earned a major win over Rhodes 81-57. Junior Bryce Frank is currently first in the SCAC in field goal percentage and in assists.
