LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Teams finished up their regular season schedules in the thirteenth week of the season and six of those teams await seeing for the SCAC Women's Basketball Tournament in Colorado Springs.
Trinity ended their regular season with three wins over Hardin-Simmons and Schreiner.
In a nail-biter between Southwestern and Texas Lutheran, Pirates' Madison Edwards hit a game winner with just 11 seconds left on the clock. The game was tied 12 different times. The Pirates also secured the no. 3 seed in the SCAC tournament.
Austin College dominated in their final game of the season over Centenary. Roo's junior Bryce Frank earned another double-double on the season grabbing 20 points and 11 boards.
The 'Roos and Trinity Tigers share the SCAC regular-season champions title after both going 12-1 in league play. Determined by a coin-flip at the SCAC Swim and Dive Championships, the Tigers earned the no. 1 seed and the 'Roo's earned the no. 2 seed for post-season play.
