LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Seeking revenge for its first conference loss a week ago, Austin College came away with a 79-70 victory over Trinity University on Sunday afternoon in Sherman. The 'Roos now hold a half game lead atop the league standings.
Centenary College swept Schreiner this season and had five players earn double-figures in scoring. Senior guard Savanah Doty tied the school record with seven blocks in the same game, which is currently the 14th highest in NCAA Division III this season.
Dallas split their weekend games, earning a win over Texas Lutheran 64-52.
Southwestern improved to .500 with their 59-51 win over Dallas.
