LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity University's women's basketball team went 3-0 last week to claim the top spot in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference standings in week ten.
The Tigers (15-3, 6-1) downed Schreiner University (5-9, 3-1), University of Dallas (7-9, 3-4), and Austin College (11-6, 5-2) on the way to a perfect week.
Austin College (11-4, 5-0) fell to both Schreiner and Trinity while Texas Lutheran University (9-9, 5-2) also had a perfect 2-0 week over Centenary College (6-12, 1-7) and Colorado College (2-17, 1-7). Southwestern University (5-11, 2-3) went 2-0, downing Centenary and Colorado College.
The University of Dallas (6-8, 2-3) went on to beat Schreiner to post a 1-1 record last week.
