MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Southwestern University
sophomore forward Chelsea Leeder was named to the D3hoops.com Team
of the Week for week one of the 2011-12 season, the website
announced.
Leeder averaged 28 points in two games as the Pirates went 2-0 to
open the season. While averaging 34.5 minutes per game, she shot
66.7% from the floor (20-of-30), 57.1% from three point range
(8-of-14) and 72.7% from the free throw line (8-of-14).
Leeder was also team leader in assists (10) and blocks (2), tied
for second in steals (3) and recorded six rebounds.
