
SUWANEE, Ga. - Rhodes College senior guard Sharwil Bell and Colorado College senior forward Becky Luetjen were each named to the Capital One Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Bell, a native of Memphis, Tenn., maintains a 3.94 Grade Point Average (GPA) as a biology major, was named to the District V first-team.
A native of Lake Oswego, Ore., Luetjen carries a 3.56 GPA as a english major, was named to the District VIII second-team.
The 2012 Capital One Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams, selected by CoSIDA, have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to Capital One Academic All-America® team ballott, where first-team, second-team and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
