TLU Softball Selected to Host NCAA Regional

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran is a regional host site for the 2022 NCAA Division-III Softball Championships, it was announced today. TLU hosts Chapman University (28-11) at Ed Kruse Stadium from Friday, May 13 to Sunday, May 15 in a two-team regional. INTERACTIVE BRACKET

The Seguin regional is one of sixteen held across the country this weekend, each of which involves four teams besides the Seguin two-team, best three-of-five regional.

The schedule for the Seguin regional:
Friday, May 13 - 7:00 pm CT
Saturday, May 14 - 5:00 pm & 7:30 pm CT
Sunday, May 15 (if needed) - Noon & 2:30 pm CT

Tickets will be available at Ed Kruse Stadium. Tickets will be $10 for adults, $5 for students, senior citizens (65 and older), and spectators under the age of 18 - children two and under are free per day. A tournament pass can also be purchased for $25 for access to all games for the weekend.

The champion of each regional will advance to the super regionals that will be held at campus sites from May 20-21. The eight teams that advance through the super regional round will participate in the 2022 Division-III Softball National Championships played in Salem, Virginia.

This is the third time overall and the second in as many seasons that the Bulldogs have hosted an NCAA regional. The entire bracket can be viewed here.
