
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Headlined by four Texas Lutheran University Bulldogs, the conference office today announced the 2021 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Softball All-Tournament Team. Official Championship Website
Earlier this month Rebecca Snow delivered a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning to give top-seeded Texas Lutheran a 2-1 victory over fifth-seeded Centenary in the championship game of the 2021 SCAC Softball Tournament.
With the win, TLU extended its own SCAC record with its seventh consecutive league championship (2014-19, 2021). The Bulldogs became just the second program to win at least seven league titles, joining Trinity University (1999-2002, 2005-2007). The win also extended the Bulldogs’ current winning streak to 20 games and secured the league’s automatic qualifier (AQ) into the 2021 NCAA Division III softball championship.
TLU led all teams with four selections followed by the runner-up Centenary was three honorees. Schreiner and Trinity each had two selections and Southwestern and Dallas both placed one on the team.
