LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The weather was not kind to Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference softball teams, as only 6-of-13 games were able to be played last week.
In the six games that were played, SCAC teams posted a 4-2 cumulative record.
Schreiner University went undefeated, sweeping a doubleheader against McMurry University with a pair of 9-1 six inning contests. Pitcher Hannah Ortiz moved to 4-0 on the season and now leads the conference in total wins.
Centenary College went 2-1 for the week, defeating Grambling early in the week and splitting a double header against Huntingdon College.
