SCAC Softball Recap - Week Two

SCAC Softball Recap - Week Two

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The second week of SCAC softball action was nothing short of thrilling as multiple games were decided in extra innings.

Texas Lutheran earned two wins as senior Maitlin Raycroft pitched her first no hitter of the season and ninth of her 24 career starts.

Dallas opened their season with a split against Hendrix. Sophomore Mel Savala scored the game-tying run on a fielder's choice in game 1 which gave the Crusaders to set up junior Stephanie Cervantes the go-ahead RBI-single to right field.

Schreiner also split their weekend games to open the 2018 campaign.

The Trinity Tigers earned two hard-fought wins over Concordia University. In game 2, junior Hailey Wilson slapped a run-scring triple into right field to put the Tigers up and clinch the win.
