TESSA GALLOWAY OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior outfielder from Spring, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Softball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 7th through Sunday, April 13th.

Galloway was absolutely dominant offensive weekend as she led the Southwestern Pirates to a 3-1 conference weekend over Ausitn College to clinch the No. 3 seed in the SCAC Softball Tournament.

Galloway posted nine hits in 14 at bats for a .643 batting average including two doubles, one triple and one homerun with seven RBIs and an unbelievable 1.143 slugging percentage.

Galloway hit for the cycle in the day one doubleheader, including a 3-for-4 day with a triple, homerun, and four RBIs. She followed that performance up with a 4-for-4 day including a double and two runs batted in as the Pirates exploded for 20 runs on the first day.

SCAC PITCHER-OF-THE-WEEK
Games of  April 7th – 13th

KATIE CASTILLON OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore right handed pitcher from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 7th through Sunday, April 13th.

Castillon threw a pair of shutouts to help Trinity to a four-game SCAC sweep of Schreiner University over the weekend, highlighted by her no-hitter to open the second day's doubleheader.
