Colorado College's Fry Posts Third-Fastest Time in Program History at NCAA Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky.
-- Senior Josh Fry finished in 77th place Saturday at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Results

Running in the final race of his career, the two-time defending SCAC Runner of the Year completed the 8K course in 24 minutes, 40.9 seconds, a personal-best and the third-fastest time in program history.

"Josh had a fantastic finish to his senior year," head coach Alex Nichols said. "He stepped up and ran a big personal-best time at the most important race of the year. He solidified his status as one of the most accomplished runners in program history."
 
Fry's result was the best by a CC male at the national meet since Nick Hall placed 60th in 2013.
