
SEAN MAJORS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Fredericksburg, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 28 through Sunday, April 3. (SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 5)
Majors posted a season best in the 400-meters last weekend at the David Noble Relays. He crossed the line in 49.18, currently the second fastest time in the SCAC this season. Majors also ran a leg on the 4x100 relay squad that finished fourth with a time of 41.40. It is currently the second fastest time in all of Div. III. Finally, he was a member of the 4x400 quartet that posted the eighth fastest time in the country with a time of 3:19.75.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year Harland Acker of Dallas made his collegiate debut last weekend for the Crusaders and posted an impressive 51.13 time in the 400-meters. Sophomore Bryce McIntyre of St. Thomas finished eighth in the 400-meters at the University of Houston Alumni Invite with a time of 49.59. It was a personal best for McIntyre.
