TANNER LACY OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Conroe, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, April 11 through Sunday, April 17. (SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 7)
Lacy jumped a season best in the pole vault with a mark of 4.65 to tie for second at the Texas A&M-Kingsville/Cactus Cup. This mark ties him for first in the conference and 20th (tied) in the country.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Caimen McDonough of Texas Lutheran won the high jump at the Texas State University/Charles Austin Classic meet. With no misses until 1.97 meters, McDonough won with a clearance of 1.92m (6-3.5). He also placed ninth overall in the long jump.
