CONWAY, Ark. - The Rhodes College women and
DePauw University men hold narrow leads after the first day of
competition at the 2010 SCAC Track & Field Championships which
is being contested on the campus of Hendrix College.
Rain and intermittent lightning forced two delays during first day
action that ended with the Rhodes College women holding a 9.5 point
lead over second-place Centre College (67-57.5) and the DePauw
University men with a six point advantage (57-51) over their
counterparts from Centre.
Rhodes has won the last two women's championships while Trinity
University is the three-time defending men's champion. The Texas
