TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Senior Todd Wildman, who
earlier this week was named the South/Southeast Indoor Athlete of
the Year by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country
Coaches Association, won the national individual title in the
pentathlon at the NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field
Championships Saturday at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Wildman scored 3,859 points, 138 points more than second-place
finisher Ted McMillan of Augustana (Ill.), to wrap up the
first-ever individual track and field title for a male
student-athlete at Trinity.
Former Trinity student-athlete Christyn Schumann won four
individual national titles in the women's high jump from 2004-2006
(3 outdoor; 1 indoor).
The individual national title is the 17th for the conference and
the fourth in indoor track and field.
