
CAMERON KRIMBILL OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Claremont, Calif., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, March 14 through Sunday, March 20. (SCAC Men's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 7)
The seventh-ranked player in Division III, Krimbill notched a pair of straight-sets victories in Saturday’s action at the Stag-Hen Invitational, pushing the Tigers to wins over Bowdoin and No. 19 Pomona-Pitzer. His first decision came against the nation’s 17th-ranked singles player, Tristan Bradley, of Bowdoin. Krimbill then battled into a barn-burning second-set tiebreaker in Sunday’s match against fifth-ranked Robert Liu of No. 4 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, but ceded the top-line matchup on a 7-6 (11-9) tally in the second frame.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Hunter Bajoit of Southwestern posted a 2-0 week, leading the Pirates to wins over No. 21 Kenyon and Rhodes on Monday. Bajoit defeated Kenyon’s Luis Andrew Platas, 6-3, 2-6, 10-5, and Rhodes’ Daniel Trudell, 6-1, 6-3.
