ALEXANDER JOSEPH OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Colleyville, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, February 11 through Sunday, February 17.
Joseph posted two singles wins at the No. 3 line as the Pirates opened the spring portion of its season with two road victories over the weekend. The junior defeated Connor Hogan of McMurry, 6-0, 6-2, and followed that up with a 6-1, 6-0 over Hardin-Simmons' Griffin Weinkam.
