KENNETH HARDY AND SIDDHARTH KORTIKERE OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, have been named the SCAC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, April 8 through Sunday, April 14.
Hardy, a senior from Lubbock, Texas, and Kortikere, a junior from Longview, Texas, picked up the lone point of the match for the ‘Roos in their loss to West region 16th-ranked Texas-Dallas. The No. 1 pair defeated Mario Jelev/Giovanni Zamboni, 8-5, in final doubles match of the day.
Other Outstanding Performances:
Southwestern freshman duo Carlos Esteban Rodera/Hunter Bajoit led the Pirates to victory over Centenary on Friday with an 8-1 win at line one. Seniors Tilden Oliver/Wilson Lambeth of Trinity teamed up for the third time this season in the Tigers’ win over Schreiner, picking up an 8-2 victory at line one.
