NEWPORT, RI
-- Trinity's Wilson Lambeth and Jordan Pitts captured their Seixas/Trabert Doubles Flight title Saturday at the Hall of Fame ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Grass Court Invitational.

The singles and doubles flights are named after legendary tennis players at the event consisting exclusively of NCAA Division III teams.

Lambeth and Pitts defeated Larry Zhao and Justin Wang of Bowdoin (ME) College 8-5 in the finals at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Lambeth lost a third-set tiebreaker in the semifinals of the Arthur Ashe Singles Flight to Radha Vishnubhotla of Washington University in St. Louis (Mo). The Tiger All-American will play for third place Sunday against Jake Williams of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CA) Colleges.

Pitts bested Bernardo Neves of Washington-St. Louis, by taking a third-set tiebreaker in the Michael Stich Singles Flight. Playing in a compass draw, Pitts suffered a loss on Friday, and will now compete for fifth place Sunday against Ben van der Sman of Washingon-St. Louis.

Cameron Krimbill was edged by Evan Fortier of Bowdoin in the Arthur Ashe Singles Flight compass draw. Krimbill meets Casey Morris of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps for seventh place in the flight on Sunday.
