The Pirates took an early lead, sweeping all three doubles points. In singles, Hunter Bajoit set the Pirates up for victory with a straight set victory, 6-3, 6-1, win at line two and Alexander Joseph clinched the match, winning 7-5, 6-0 at line two.

Southwestern heads to its fifth consecutive SCAC title match tomorrow morning at 8 a.m at the Russell Tennis Center. The Pirates will take on Trinity for the fifth time in five years with the Tigers winning all five previous matchups. Meanwhile, Austin College takes on Schreiner in the third-place match at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning at Smith Tennis Center in Denison, Texas. The Roos' and Mountaineers will compete for the fourth time in tournament history. Against Schreiner in the postseason, Austin College holds an overall record of 1-2 but won the most recent matchup in 2017.
