Southwestern's Dimanche Wins SCAC Men's Tennis Elite 19 Award

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- In an announcement made Friday afternoon from the conference office, Southwestern University's Alexis Dimanche was named the 2019 SCAC Men's Tennis Elite 19 award winner.

Dimanche, a junior from Mouans-Sartoux, France, currently holds a 3.901 GPA as a Physics major with a Business and Data Science minor and was an All-SCAC first team selection on this year's all-conference men's tennis team. He was the SCAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Year in 2018 and finished runner-up for the award this year.

The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season. A student-athlete will be honored annually from each of the league's 19 conference-sponsored sports and will be recognized at the site at that year's conference championship event.

This is the inaugural year of the SCAC Elite 19 award.
