LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Six of the seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis teams were in action last week, with many of them facing off against each other.
Southwestern University had a strong week, going 3-0 with wins over Schreiner University, Hardin-Simmons University and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The Pirates gave up just five points between the three matches.
Austin College also found success last week, winning its two matches against Centenary College and Texas Lutheran University. The 'Roos blanked both opponents to put their current winning streak at five matches.
